Bass Fishing in December for Peacocks and Largemouths. The season is starting out great the peacocks have been perform great with livebait. The Everglades is starting to pick up action, even with this cold front.
Sunday December 12, Nigel Caulkett and his good buddy Tommy out for some Everglades Largemouth Bass action. Everglades largemouth bass action. It really was an exiting day on the water. These two guys boated 25+ bass on a full day in the glades. At the end of the day on Tommys last cast he hooked a monster bass, he fight with it all the way back to the boat and it came of, that hurt! I saw this fish, it was 7 to 8 lbs, what a heartbreaker, next time.
I hope to see these guys again in the spring time.
December 11 onboard with Corns for the peacock bass action. John was smart and moved up his trip a few days to get ahead of South Florida mini cold front. The Corns managed a few great fights with these bass, most caught on livebait. John was on of the most pataint angler I ever had on my boat and his wife was a true trooper. I had alot of fun on this trip.
December 5, Lisa Noni and husband from New York caught 18 peacocks all on livebait. Great couple they had blast fighting Miami Peacocks.
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
