Hi this is Captain Brian Brown with your January 29th fishing report.

Today I shared the boat with Doug and Lisa Roberge from Connecticut. They are escaping the winter storm they just endured.  We fished out of the north end of Lake Okeechobee today. We fished with live bait, a lot of shiners. We had a wonderful day on the water. We went through 5 dozen of shiners today; catching a lot of medium size fish and 2-3 pounds was our biggest fish today. We admired the wild life on the lake, birds and we even saw some alligators. Lisa got the chance to take some pictures and record them in action. Overall, great day on the water. The weather turned out beautiful, warming back up in the 70s. Good South Florida weather!

This is your fishing report with Captain Brian Brown, until next time! Tight lines!
