Today I had out return customer Bob and his friend Steve from popular Danbury, CT. Last time down they fished with Capt Mark Shepard on Lake Okeechobee and had great success on wild shiners. So today I decided t take them deep in to the Everglades for some fast action largemouth bass on artificial baits.

First thing in the morning we were checked by the Broward County sheriffs, really nice guy. He checked everything, including Florida fishing license…hey and we passed with flying colors. After blasting off, we slowed and landed at the first location starting with topwater action. I don’t know if it was the morning bite that we missed or the full moon, but there was not much of a topwater bite at all. Sometimes, you just need to go with the flow and not try to force feed them and that’s just what we did.

After a few line size adjustments, we found the combination that worked. once again our Danbury, CT crew had another successful trip boating around 25 bass in 4 hours. For all of you guys and girls in CT, we really appreciate all the support and business you provide us.

Cannot wait to see these two back for another round, we had a great time!

I look forward to talking fishing with all of you!

Tight Lines,
Capt Todd
