I was off to the Florida Everglades with the Guerrera Brothers from Danbury Connecticut. What a gorgeous morning in October, with blue bird sky’s. Sometimes those clear sky days are tough, and only a true anglers are the ones that reel in the fish and that’s just what happened.
Using artificial baits we caught few first thing in the morning, but live bait is what caught the bigger ones. We also caught several nice bass by worming the bottom.
On hot Florida days, water temperature are at there highest, so the fish hang around deeper waters. The Guerrera brothers even caught Peacock Bass in the Everglades on this trip. We are starting to see more and more Peacocks in the Everglades, hopefully this will not create problems for the largemouth population.
We look forward to taken them out again, remember Florida Everglades is rated #1 in Florida for numbers of fish caught per hour. Fishing is awesome in the Everglades and one of the best way to experience the abundant wildlife of the Everglades!
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
