The end of June, onboard with John Schnetzer on a two day Bass Fishing Adventure. John’s first day was really great for challenging peacocks bass in Miami. The Peacock bass are the toughest freshwater species in the world, but John caught over eighteen fish & few peacocks were six and half pounds. We moved around a lot and caught fish in all over Airport Lake.
Day two largemouth in the Everglades, nothing is like the action and abundant of wildlife here. John I met him in the morning at his hotel and headed out to the Everglades we ran for a little while to a ledge that a friend told me about. We worked the bottom ledge and managed to catch a few nice fish. In the afternoon the bite shut off, so we moved to another canal system and used frogs for top water action that produced what Bass fishing addicts love the thrill. Largemouth bass fishing is challenging, the fish has personality, it’s aggressive & intense. The most want species of freshwater fish when it comes to sport fishing.
It was a great time with John and looking forward to seeing him next year.
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
