What an action packed 6 hour guide trip! I met Jeff Potter and his friend also named Jeff at 6:30am and we launched into Lake Griffin at 7:00am. We decided to fish the Emeralda Marsh area. We started off fishing top water baits and the bass jumped on them immediately! We hooked four or five bass then moved over to the pads to see what was hiding under them. We caught another 5 fish including a nice one in the 3 1/2 lb range and doesn’t include the countless other fish that bit but were missed!
After fishing the marsh for 4 hours or so we headed to some canals to see what was happening over there. On the second canal that we hit Mr. Potter and his friend started hooking fish immediately catching another four or more fish in the 3 – 3 1/2 range!
We had a great day and caught some really good quality fish. Mr. Potter and his friend Jeff were fun to fish with and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The Emeralda Marsh area is on Lake Griffin and once again proved to be a great place to fish!

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
