Hello, its Capt Brett Isackson with your Lake Ida freshwater fishing report.

Today I was on Lake Ida in Palm Beach with Will and his family. Will made this a complete family outing by bring along his wife, son and daughter. We only had a short (4) four hours to fish today, but ended up being a really nice productive day. Having four anglers we went with live-bait, it simply gives everyone should a great opportunity to catch fish.

We caught over (45) forty-five fish mostly peacock bass, but did have about (10) ten large-mouth bass and (3) three or (4) four Sunshine Bass!
Most of the fish were in the one to three-pound range with a couple pushing four pounds.

With all the cold fronts that just passed through I was pleasantly surprise to see the fish eat so good, so come on down there biting better than ever.

Tight lines, Captain Brett Isackson
