Captain John Miller for Bass Online donate a Lake Okeechobee bass fishing trip for the National Hunters Education. Last year a fund raiser for National Hunters Education was canceled, but in it’s place a nationwide auction was held by Gunbroker.com the proceeds went to National Hunters Education. They Auction all kinds hunting and fishing products and worldwide hunting and fishing trips raising money for a good cause. Wayne Evans from Alabama was the highest bidder and won a day bass fishing with Capt John Miller. Mr. Evans was unable to use the trip and gave it to Bill & Sandra Shockley as a wedding gift. We have to find out how to get on Bridal list for gifts, because the grooms would love getting fishing trips.
The Lucky honeymooners drove down from Mississippi to bass fish at world famous Lake Okeechobee. I meet the Shockley at Okeechobee Fishing Headquarters got some livebait and off to the ramp. Bill had never fished in Florida and was in for a real treat. We had a couple dozen shiner’s for the wife. Bill preferred to fish artificial and he had a great day catching nine bass including a nice 51/2 pounder landing his biggest bass. After landing that bass Baill had the shakes and big smile from the adrenaline catching an Okeechobee bass. It was another great day on the water and Shockley the honeymooners may want anniversary trip, great job and best wishes.Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
